For my BCM114 project originally I decided to do two small projects as I thought I would have the time to do them both but it turns out it was not very optimal for me to do. My first project was working in tandem with the digital media society and working on the meme board in building 25 I was going to create a twitter page and a tik tok and update that when new memes are posted up on the board. I was going to also going to get popular memes on the #BCM tags and post them on the board with credit to the posters to show off people who are doing well in our classes. But this fell apart as I had technical issues with both my phone and computer breaking again. So it got to week 7 and I hadn’t been able to do anything on either project. On my second project I was continuing from my BCM 112 project of streaming games on twitch. For the first semester I had mediocre success getting a decent amount of regular viewers and followers by the end of then we had about 50 followers. In semester two I tried continuing what I was doing streaming Minecraft and dark souls, but the popularity of Minecraft had fallen recently so I haven’t been getting as many viewers. So, I decided to dabble into more popular games I spent a few weeks practicing league of legends so I could stream in regularly and get into the game as it is the biggest game on twitch. I’ve only streamed it once and had about 8 viewers this is pretty good really, but I fell like with more consistent streams I think I could gain extra followers and viewers. Things I could do better is sticking to my schedule I posted a schedule and haven’t been able to follow it at all through other uni getting in the way and a bit of laziness on my part. In future I’m going to try and stream multiple times a week to keep up a consistent number of viewers and gain followers over time. At this time I have 143 followers with an average of about 7 followers of the streams varying regularly I am proud of what I’ve been able to do with such little amount of time cause I have had major setbacks multiple times in both classes so far I have gotten other people to stream on my account every Friday playing games as I am not able to. In conclusion I have not been consistent enough on my project but even, so I have made decent strides in the right direction.
